HCG Diet – First Two Days

Grill your meat and use no oil or fat to cook with. This is very important. Oils and fats can interfere with the effectiveness of the HCG Diet drops.

Seasonings allowed are: Seas salt or himalayan crystal salt (sparingly and avoid table salt high in sodium and bleached) black pepper, cider vinegar, lemon  for dressing salads and seasoning your food.

Strawberries, apples, oranges or grapefruit.

These are all great fruits that help with the fat burning idea of the HCG diet. Most other fruits are too high in sugar to be included at this first phase.

Vegetables Allowed On The HCG Diet

Steamed, grilled, baked or raw spinach as long as not cooked in fat or oil. Chard or silverbeet, chicory or endive, any green salad lettuces, tomatoes, celery, fennel, onions, red radishes, cucumbers, asparagus, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini.

No carrots, corn or potatoes.

You are allowed sticks of Grissini bread which is available from delicatessens or the Supermarket.

Stevia can be used as a Natural Sweetener. No artificial chemical based sweetners. You’ll find stevia is available from the Supermarket or your Health Shop.

Helpful Information About The HCG Diet

Fluctuations in Weight Loss

After the fourth or fifth day of dieting the daily loss of weight begins to decrease to 0.4 kilos or less due to urinary output.  Men often continue to lose more regularly but women are more irregular even in spite of faultless dieting.  For women there may be no drop in two or three days and then a sudden loss which re-establishes the normal average.  These fluctuations are entirely due to variations in the retention and elimination of water which are more in women than in men.
